Ageing Sydney broadcaster David Campbell, known well to his family and a small circle of listeners, took a break for a few weeks, leaving me in charge of his well-avoided Saturday morning show. If you missed them, and most people did, here’s a chance to listen to them online – choose the full show or the one with the music edited out. I know, you’d prefer the one with the voice links edited out and just have the music.

The Breakfast Shows

Desperate to find out where the FM99.3 audience was hiding, I decided to try out a few breakfast shows. Someone must be listening then, surely? Have a listen back online and help increase the aggregate audience. Just ignore the traffic reports – that incident has probably been cleared up by now.

Sunday Shows – September and October 2006
October 23rd, 2006 · Comments Off · Radio Shows
Here are the last two months of the Sundays shows – September and October 2006. The final final show is in a separate post. Most are just the spoken bits, but you can recreate the whole experience by saving the file to your hard drive, listen out for the songs titles, going and buying the music, editing it in, saving it back to your hard drive, and playing it again. Shouldn’t take more than a day or two.

Filling in for Spot
September 10th, 2006 · Comments Off · Radio Shows
Bruce “Spot” Potter presents Friday on My Mind on FM99.3. Strangely, it attracts a reasonably large audience – largely diet related.
I filled in for him once – I wasn’t asked again. I used it as an opportunity for a bit of an on-air quiz. Have a listen.
