$1,675 toll hike is fair say Cross City Tunnel Operators

Operators of the Cross City Tunnel will increase toll charges in April in an attempt to cut the losses from lower than expected traffic volumes. A spokesman said it should be possible to break-even by increasing the toll from the current $3.50 to a new rate of $1,678.94 per trip.

There are claims this week that the housing crisis can be averted in Sydney by removing all the dead people from East Lindfield.
It is years since anyone has been seen in the streets of this quiet suburb on Sydney’s North Shore and experts believe the vast majority of the suburb died many years ago. Removing the bodies and selling their homes could ease the pressure on Sydney house prices.
