Operators of the Cross City Tunnel will increase toll charges in April in an attempt to cut the losses from lower than expected traffic volumes. A spokesman said it should be possible to break-even by increasing the toll from the current $3.50 to a new rate of $1,678.94 per trip.

Spurred on by the popularity of reversing road closures associated with the Cross City Tunnel and the Lane Cove Tunnel, the NSW Premier has announced plans to undo changes associated with the building of the Harbour Bridge, as well as the reversing the Snowy Hyrdo Scheme and any construction projects associated with the arrival of the First Fleet.

Faheem Khalid Lodhi’s plans to cause devastation in a major Australian city changed all the time. He had planned to hit Sydney hard in a way that would inconvenience millions, but the completion of the Cross City Tunnel beat him to it. Plans to destroy the lives of people all over the country were superseded by the IR reforms. Many more had their freedom take away by having children so they could claim the Baby Bonus. All in all, he was finding it hard to be a terrorist in Australia.

Sydney Buses will order a new fleet of one two seater convertible Mercedes SLK to run a new route from Malcolm Turnbull’s Eastern suburbs home to wherever he wants to go. This follows Turnbull’s announcement that he will ditch his chauffeur driven car and turn to public transport, with a $20,000 annual allowance.
